I grew up on the waterfront of Virginia, but despite the saltwater breeze and rich marsh smell, I remember most of my childhood in terms of video-games.
Halo was the first to show that music can play a large part of the gaming experience. Then Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
And after that Guild Wars and World of Warcraft.
These game soundtracks were the beginning of my exploration into composing and are a large influence on the emotions I try to bring to my projects. Over 15 years after Martin O'Donnell released his iconic theme, I still think of my experiences and hope to bring a similar magic to other stories.
